PUBLISHING REQUIREMENTS

THE MANUSCRIPTS SHOULD NOT BE PUBLISHED IN OTHER EDITIONS.
The authors should fulfill a Copyright Declaration Form that the manuscript has not been published in other editions and this Declaration should be signed and scanned.
In case of co-authorship – the participation of each co-author in the paper should be presented.
The registration forms for participation in the conference should be filled up to (20^th November 2025).
The papers should be submitted up to (15^th January 2025).
The papers should be written and presented in Bulgarian or English languages.

The accepted papers will be reviewed by a blind peer review and after their approval will be published in online Conference Proceedings with an ISBN number.
Each participant with a paper will receive an online Conference Proceedings and a Certificate for Participation in the conference.
The time for presenting and discussing papers during the conference is 15 minutes.

Dear colleagues and friends,

On behalf of the Program Committee, I have the honor and pleasure to invite you to take part in the Fifth International Scientific Conference "Strategic Planning and Marketing in the Digital World". The Conference will be held on November 25^th, 2025 at UNWE, Sofia and online at MS Teams.

The conference is organized by the Department of Marketing and Strategic Planning of the University of National and World Economy, Sofia in partnership with:

The main goal of the organized scientific forum is to present, through the prism of strategic planning and marketing, the main opportunities and challenges for modern society in the era of digitalization. The organized forum aims to cover the issue as the digital world covers all levels of government (corporate, regional, national and international) and their various aspects (marketing, planning, finance, education and health, etc.).

The thematic fields in which the conference focuses this year are:

Impact of digital transformation in strategic planning;
Integrating traditional and digital strategic approaches;
The role of data and analytics in digital era;
Digital marketing strategies and practices;
AI in marketing;
Digital marketing (social marketing, e-marketing, influencer marketing, omnichannel marketing) in emerging markets;
Strategic perspectives in digital era.

An independent section of the Conference is provided for the participation of students (bachelor's and master's degrees) and doctoral students, where they will be able to present the results of their research.

The papers presented at the scientific conference in Bulgarian, which have passed scientific review, will be published in a conference proceeding with ISBN, entered in the NACID reference list.

Review Policy

DOUBLE-BLIND PEER REVIEW CRITERIA

All research articles in this journal have undergone double-blind peer review, based on initial editor screening and refereeing by two anonymous referees. In order to be accepted for publication in the journal the articles must satisfy certain criteria.

PLAGIARISM POLICY:

All research papers submitted for publication are checked with plagiarism detection software to verify its originality and find similarity percent of a research paper. And the papers failing to satisfy the mentioned criteria are sent back to the author for modification.
If plagiarism is detected in research paper, the author/s will be given a chance to resubmit the paper after necessary modification as suggested by the editor. However, if the editor decides plagiarism is a major issue in the research paper, it will not be considered further for publication.
If plagiarism/fake identity is suspected or detected in research paper after its publication, the research paper will be removed from website till completion of verification.
As a plagiarism is defined a level of similarity, periphrasing, and text distortions (as substitution of letters, spreads, micro spaces, white signs) above 20%.

CRITERIA:

1. Basic

1.1. Every author of paper is affiliated with his institution and country, as well as, contacts with the author are provided.

1.2. The article has the same abstract submitted in registration and approved previously by the Program Committee.

1.3. Keywords and JEL codes are included.

1.4. The article follows the basic technical requirements. The Editorial Board reserves the right to return to authors, without peer review, improperly formatted manuscripts or non-authorized submissions.

1.5. The article has Introduction, Literature Review, Methods and Methodology, Results and/or Discussion and Conclusion. Acknowledgments are written properly after the Conclusion and before the References.

1.6. All references are fully cited.

1.7. Self-citation is kept up to 30%.

2. Rationale of the study

2.1. The main purpose or thesis of the article is clearly stated in the introduction.

2.2. The claims of the study are properly placed in the context of the previous literature.

2.3. The literature review is complete and pertinent.

2.4. The significance of the study is explicitly formulated. The study makes contribution to a certain area of research.

3. Content

3.1. The study is original/innovatory; it introduces new ideas, new techniques, methods, data and facts or different approaches; may stimulate discussion or alternative points of view.

3.2. The problem discussion is profound and balanced.

3.3. Research methods are appropriate and presented in detail.

3.4. Data/statistics/proofs are meaningful, reliable, validated and logical.

3.5. The analysis is adequate to the logics of the research and the conclusions.

3.6. The results are explained clearly, convincingly and avoid misinterpretation, speculations or assumptions.

3.7. The conclusions are logical and impartial, and are supported by the data.

3.8. The literature is current; the references reflect the latest work in the field; the references are indexed properly and are recorded in the bibliography.

4. Structure and language

4.1. The manuscript is logically structured.

4.2. The writing is clear and concise, in good English, correct from the grammar point of view.

4.3. The title is adequate to the content.The summary is sufficiently informative. It describes the purpose, the research and the results and conclusions.

4.4. The introduction specifies the purpose and tasks, thesis, methods, literature review, significance and contribution to the theory or practice in the research area.

4.5. All figures, graphs, tables and photos are appropriate and necessary, named and numbered. The measuring units are correct; the data source is indicated; the data are valued and interpreted correctly.

4.6. Terms, symbols and concepts are defined correctly. Appropriate usage of scientific terminology.
